Farm and Zoo

Last weekend was such a busy weekend. First on Friday we didn't go to school cause our friends Ms. Becca and Mr. Chris came up to play with us and take us out to lunch. We walked to Subway and ate yummy sandwiches, and of course we spent time in babyjail. Nate's favorite part was climbing all over Mr. Chris, he is so tall and is great at rough housing with us. He also has awesome shoes!!

Nate checking out Mr. Chris's tattoos - he thought they were pretty cool, he will have to wait till he is 18 though!

Nate with Mr. Chris and Ms. Becca - Alex was a little camera shy that day but gave everyone great hugs!

Saturday Mommy and Daddy took us to the Farm and we picked blueberries, raspberries and tomato we also bought cantaloupe, peppers, corn and zucchini. We saw goats and llamas and had way too much fun!

Needless to say we had great big naps on Saturday!! Sunday morning Mommy took us to the petting zoo. Alex did awesome and wasn't afraid of anything, and Nate was... well Nate and ran after EVERYTHING. We saw chickens, goats, sheep, a horse, an Emu named Mu, a pig, ducks, bunnies and a turkey. We had a blast!!

So that was just the weekend. On Wednesday Miss Jeanette came to visit us, we went swimming, Alex was doing awesome in the pool, floating on his own (with the arm floats) and kind of swimming,  and Miss Jeanette helped us eat lunch and get ready for naps before going out to lunch with Mommy. Busy week!!

Big news is Alex is finally moving to the 3 year old room at the end of the month and gets to be with Alex. He also will be starting an IEP program, special education, at the local elementary school in the next month so he gets more physical, occupational and speech therapy. So he will get to go to the elementary school a few times each week and spend his mornings there and then head off to daycare to play with Nate and our friends.

Phew.. that is one long update!! Enjoy!

Rainy Day vs Nice Day

So yesterday is rained ALL DAY...so we couldnt go outside and play... so Mommy and Daddy found creative ways to burn off our energy.

Today however was a beautiful day so we went to the petting farm- http://www.clarklandfarm.com/ and ran around. We didn't even bring the strollers with us! We ran everywhere... so much to see and do. We saw/touched goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, cows, ducks, turkey, horses and tons of fairy tale things... like a giant shoe some old woman used to live in with tons of kids.... but is now a big slide to go down.

Our first experience feeding animals.... goats! Alex wanted nothing to do with it! Nate loved it!!

Then we moved on to sheep... pretty much the same

Hopefully we can go back soon! Oh and GO HOKIES!!!!!!!!!!! We beat Marshall yesterday 52-10. WOHOO!!!!!

Farming and Food Fun!

First off... if you haven't heard. Daddy got his wisdom teeth taken out on Thursday, does that make him dumber? He is doing well, Grandma and Grandpap came down to help out Mommy take care of the three of us babies. Last night we were eating chicken nuggets and BBQ Sauce and Mommy got creative with our faces..... however we must have sensitive skin because after our baths, which was right after Mommy got creative, our faces were a little red... but it went down fairly quickly... so no worries.

Grandma and Grandpap left super early this morning to head to the beach for a week... HAVE FUN!.... so we got up and Mommy and Daddy too us to Larriland Farms (www.pickyourown.com) to get some fresh vegetables. We also saw a goat and some llamas, we hadn't been since October of last year, but they promised we will visit a few more times before the end of the season this year.
