Finally Home!

After spending 5 days on the road we are finally home sweet home. We started out on the 23rd by going to Nana and Grandad's, then on the 24th went to Aunt Coco and Uncle Todd's for a Christmas brunch. Then we went home for about 2 hours to do our Christmas with Mommy and Daddy, then got back in the car and drove to Grandma and Grandpap's house. We were there till Sunday, then we drove to Great Aunt Helen and Great Uncle Bill's house for lunch and then finally we came home last night. PHEW!!!! So needless to say we have tons of photos to share, we got TONS of gifts, and we had tons of fun.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!!!! Can you believe it's almost 2010???

We're Home!

So we spent the afternoon Napping at Nana and Grandad's while Uncle Steve and Grandad finished up cleaning up their long driveway and Daddy took a nap and Nana and Mommy wrapped Christmas presents.

Here is Alex pre-nap.
Nate pondering if he will smile for the camera

OF COURSE HE WILL!
While Daddy and us were napping and Grandad and Uncle Steve was outside 2 deer came to visit Mommy and Nana in the basement. They were very close to the windows and didn't run away.... but really how could they run when the snow was up to their bellies?

Crap I've been spotted!

Could you throw me a shovel?

Are you still watching me?

The other one... he/she really just ignored us and ate

So we got home... with minimal complications... our van almost didn't make it out of Nana and Grandad's unplowed neighborhood.... it LOOKED plowed from the house... oh well. It took us a little longer to get home, the beltway had a couple of fender benders which slowed us down. But our biggest surprise was that our fabulous next door neighbors (Jacob and Sofie's Mommy and Daddy) shoveled our driveway while we were gone. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! But our stairs and the little convertible were still covered in snow.. so here is what Maryland snow looks like.
The Nissan as seen from the garage

The other side of the Nissan....look you can see a read view mirror and a little bit of the tire!

The Stairs! ... who has a sled?

When we got inside we got an early Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpap that arrived while we were hanging in Virginia. A table and chair set for our play kitchen!! We LOVE IT!

So that's it. We are tired. Oh and not only was this our first big snow storm... it was also Kerri's first big snow... to see what she was up to and what their snow looked like, visit her blog at http://kerringtonsadventures.blogspot.com/

Hi All!

For those of you joining us for the first time. Hi Y'All! Welcome to our blog! Not much new to report. Grandma and Grandpap came over this weekend, but we didn't get to go outside because of the rain and it being fairly chilly. However we would like to take this time to remind everyone that Christmas is NEXT WEEK!!! We can't wait. Mommy and Daddy set up the tree and there are presents waiting underneath for us to tear open. Here is a picture of it... isn't she a beauty! And unfortunately this year we again didn't get to help decorate it.... next year.

Oh on Friday we went to Celebree Day Care to check it out... we got to play with some of our peers while Mommy took a tour. We had fun, tore just a few things apart. Tomorrow we are going to look at another day care facility. Mommy is hoping to finally go back to work, seeing as how she has been unemployed since we were born..... well we mean unless you consider taking care of us a JOB.... but are so much fun and never give her problems... so we really aren't a job at all :) It will only be part time and we will make lots of new friends, so we are excited... for now.

Did we mention Christmas is next week?

Thanksgiving Recap

We hope everyone has recovered from their Turkey Comas! We had so much fun and were so busy. Here is a quick recap of what we did this weekend.

Wed night we went to Nana and Grandad's house, we got there at 9 and everyone was already asleep. Mommy and Daddy attempted to get us to join the club but that just didn't happen. We were so excited about Thanksgiving that we were practically up the whole night, Mommy and Daddy must have been so excited as well cause they stayed up with us. Thanksgiving morning we hung out with Nana, Grandad, Great Uncles Greg and Chris, their daughters and Kerri while Mommy. Aunt CoCo, Uncle Todd and Uncle Steve went to run a 5k..... Daddy was supposed to join them but he had SO much fun the night before he went back to bed once Nana woke up. We were bored with our entertainment... and a little tired from our all-nighter, so we took an early nap.

After we woke up we spent the day playing with everyone. Miss Sara and Mr. Justin brought Mason over for dinner so we all got to play together. There were 6 kids under the age of 5 there. (1 almost 5 year old, 3 2 year olds, 1 1 year old and a 5 month old) We had so much fun chasing after each other.
Here is Mason contemplating what to do to Kerri

While we played upstairs the grown ups worked on dinner and setting the table.

Finally we all got to sit down and enjoy the yummy food!

So after about 15 minutes of eating the adults were still talking and eating so Mommy put Elmo's World on and we were confined to a mini-baby jail.

The next day we went over the river and through the woods..... and over a mountain... and through some snow... and stuck in traffic.... and had an emergency of the upchuck variety..... anyways... we were on our way to Grandma and Grandpap's house for the remainder of the weekend.

SNOW!

We got to Grandma and Grandpap's house fairly late, but the next morning we were up and moving and running around every where. We put our big jackets on and went outside and met their neighbors puppy "Chloe". She was so excited to see us.

However some of us weren't that excited about Chloe

Grandpap is that you??

Aunt Heidi came to visit as well and we all had lunch together. The weekend went by so fast and before we knew it we were back in the car heading home. Luckily there was no snow, or traffic or emergency of the upchuck variety.

So tired!

Thats all the pictures we have but other people took photos so when we get them we will post them as well.
Hope every one had a great weekend!

Farming and Food Fun!

First off... if you haven't heard. Daddy got his wisdom teeth taken out on Thursday, does that make him dumber? He is doing well, Grandma and Grandpap came down to help out Mommy take care of the three of us babies. Last night we were eating chicken nuggets and BBQ Sauce and Mommy got creative with our faces..... however we must have sensitive skin because after our baths, which was right after Mommy got creative, our faces were a little red... but it went down fairly quickly... so no worries.

Grandma and Grandpap left super early this morning to head to the beach for a week... HAVE FUN!.... so we got up and Mommy and Daddy too us to Larriland Farms (www.pickyourown.com) to get some fresh vegetables. We also saw a goat and some llamas, we hadn't been since October of last year, but they promised we will visit a few more times before the end of the season this year.
