We didn't do badly, the first night Nate fell asleep after a little running around in our room, luckily Mommy and Daddy left us some books to read. Alex however was very upset and finally passed out in Baby Jail at 1030 and Mommy carried him back upstairs. The next night was easier, we were both asleep by 9, and now we are back to our normal sleeping habits on our big boy beds.

Also Nate offically moved to the 3 year old room on Tueday and Alex is sill hanging out with some of our friends in the older 2 year olds room, he just needs to learn not to dump milk on the floor while our friends are trying to drink it.

This weekend

We had so much fun this past weekend!!! We got to skip school on Friday and go to the petting zoo with Mommy!!!!! Pictures and videos can be found HERE-

Then we went to lunch with Daddy who couldn't join us cause he was working. But we got to eat lunch outside with him and Mommy so that was fun. And then we were off to Nana and Grandad's house, and Uncle Steve was home from college and Cousin Kerri was there too cause Uncle Todd and Aunt Coco went to Philly..... which is weird...I guess they really wanted to see where the cream cheese we put on our bagels comes from... oh well... adults are so weird.

Saturday morning we made a quick stop at Starbucks and picked up some coffee for Mommy and Aunt Katie and went to her house to play with Sasha - here are some videos of us

WE FOUND HER!!!

We finally got Piccy back home this morning! YAY!!!!!!!!!! She had a big adventure and was gone for over a week and now has come home very stinky!!... but at least she is home :)

MISSING!!!!

We just wanted to let you all know our beloved kitty Piccadilly has been missing for a week now :( Mommy and Daddy have seen her a couple times and have set up a trap, but she seems to just be having way too much fun!! Hopefully she will come home soon... we miss her very much!

Big Weekend

So this weekend we hung out at Nana and Grandad's house while Daddy had a boys weekend with Uncle Todd and Uncle Bryant... Don't know why WE weren'y invited... but Thursday is when all these fun videos were taken of Alex telling Nate "NO TIME OUT" and acting all crazy.. Nate had a few minutes as well. Then on Saturday Mommy and Nana and Grandad took up to the Air and Space museum near the Dulles Airport and guess what we saw.... AIRPLANES!!!! We had waaaay too much fun and even got to sit in one. March of Dimes

Hi, Alex and Nate's Mommy here. A big thanks to everyone who has donated so far to the March of Dimes walk I am a part of this year!!! Every dollar helps me reach my goal of $4,000 and also helps the March of Dimes reach their goal of letting every mommmy have healthy babies. I went to a kickoff yesterday for a company and the 2010ambassador family for the March of Dimes was there to tell their story. Josh was born at 23 WEEKS!!!! And is now a fairly healthy and normal 7 year old. And many people have asked me what it's like to have a preemie (or 2) and I have never been able to put it into words but Josh's Mom phrased it beautifully, and even admitted she had heard this from someone else.

Having a preemie is like planning a big trip to Paris, you and your partner book your flight, make all the reservations, plan your itinerary, brush up on your high school french, do research, pack your backs, go to the airport, get on the plane take off for the trip of a life time. You are so excited, but once you land the captain comes on over the intercom and says "Welcome to Holland!" HOLLAND?? You didn't want to go to Holland, you wanted to go to Paris, you dont know the language or the culture, everything is so foreign and kind of scary. But you make your way around Holland, and while it's very different than Paris, it's still a beautiful place and in the end it turned out to be a long and tiresome, but heavily rewarding trip, with a great souvenir (or two!)

3 years and 1 day old

It's tough being a 3 year old. Mommy got a call at work from daycare, Nate had a fever and she had to go pick him up. He was pretty pathetic till he got a nap and some juice, then he was feeling better. Daddy is staying home with him tomorrow since Mommy has meetings.

Clean Sweep

So yesterday Alex and Mommy took a trip to Target to get some stuff... including a new broom. Alex went into the kitchen and swept the entire kitchen floor!

Happy Birthday Take 1

So in case you hadn't heard yet our birthday is exactly a week away!!!! WE WILL BE 3 YEARS OLD!!!!!! So we had our first of 3 parties yesterday, Grandma and Pap, Aunt Heidi and Dave and Great Aunt Helen and Uncle Bill all came down to celebrate with us and Mommy and Daddy. We got tons of gifts and clothes and M&Ms and Chocolate Cake (eggless of course!) and chips and BBQ, YUM!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a quick video

Mommy brought out her old friend "Frederick the bear" Alex decieded to feed him lunch. Mommy tried to get it on tape, but he stopped feeding him and instead tried to get him to smile for the camera. Oh and we are all feeling better!

where have we been?

lets just say we are a very sharing family and we have shared with Mommy and Daddy this really fun stomac bug. Nate got it first and he gave it to Alex, who then gave it to Daddy, who came home early from work on Monday, and Mommy took care of all of us and felt great until........ she was up all night on Monday night and was on the couch all day Tuesday, which was OK cause Daddy was feeling better and took care of all of us. Did you follow that? Yeah, so more later when we are all recovered!

Yeah, it's been a busy week. And guess what.. Nate is sick... we aren't talking like a cough type of sick either.... he is SICK as in change the sheets and his clothes kind of sick. Which is fine since it's been raining all weekend and we can't go outside anyways.

Nothing too exciting... minus our Birthday is only exactly 3 weeks away!!!!! YAY!!! We will be 3 in 3 weeks! Can you believe it??

We have been having tons of fun at school, and even our friends come to visit us, Miss Kathy, Miss Laura and Miss Angela.... we still go visit Miss Cheryl at her school, which is fun.

Oh and Nana and Grandad came back from their 2 week cruise in the Carribean this week so we went to visit them and Aunt Coco and Kerri came over. She is 9 months old now.... isn't she so cute?

Another Preemie

So Kerri has a new cousin..... NO Mommy didn't have a baby..... Uncle Todd's Brother Mr. Chris and his wife Miss Ellen welcomed their 3rd son Nicolas on Thursday. However he was born just a little too early. His Mommy's water broke earlier in the week while she was 33 weeks pregnant, and she was lucky and did such an awesome job keeping him in her belly till he was 34 weeks along. YAY!!!!! So he is chilling in the NICU, but not as seriously as we were.. for now... still being watched. Hopefully he won't have to stay in the hospital very long before he gets to go home and meet his big brothers Nate and Seth. To find out more go here - http://kerringtonsadventures.blogspot.com/

March for Babies

So we are over 1/4 of our way to our big goal as you all know..we have raised $1,060 so far and our team as a whole has raised $2,130. GO US! Big thanks to everyone who has donated so far. We don't care how much you donate $5, $10, $50, $100 whatever you can do is a big help.

Mommy went through her old lap top and found this video of the very first time she got to hold Nate. He was A MONTH OLD!!!! But look how tiny we were. Oh and what Mommy is actually doing is called Kangaroo Care - she would put us right up against her chest so we were skin to skin and it would help us bond with her as well as keep us warm... since we were too small to even keep ourselves warm

Lots to say.

So the strangest thing happened yesterday morning. We went to bed, and while we hadn't seen daddy all day Friday cause we slept in a bit and were in bed before he got home. We know he drove off in this beautiful sport little car (Mommy's OTHER baby)


When we woke up Saturday morning and looked outside that fabulous car we dreamed of driving our future girlfriends in was replaced by this -

Now while it is a beautiful blue car.... and we must say very comfy and even has 2 brand new car seats in it..... we don't know... we just can't believe it! First Mommy gets a job and we go into day care and now we have 2 sensible cars.... how crazy is that?? Oh well Mommy and Daddy seem happy with the new car and we can actually ride in it so... no complaints here!

Now today Mommy brought some snow in from outside for us to play with... and play we did. Here are some pictures and a video to prove it!

Busy Week!

So we went to daycare 3 days in a row! THAT'S A RECORD! We have tomorrow off and get to visit Nana and Grandad. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our teacher's name is Miss Michelle, she is super nice. A typical day for us looks like this:

9am - arrive at daycare and check in
915 - morning snack
930 - morning announcements and dancing time
10-12 - play time and circle time
12 - lunch
1230 - 3 nap time
3 - snack time
and then we play till mommy comes and gets us.

Today Alex got to go to the big trash can with Miss Michelle just as Mommy was pulling up so she walked to the dumpster with them as well.

So we would like it to be noted that its nearly noon and we haven't seen the snow plow yet. Daddy was supposed to go to work this morning and Mommy needs to stop by her office to pick up some work to do over the weekend. PLUS more importantly Grandma and Grandpap are on their way down for a visit!!!!!

Snowed in Photos

Hey Everyone.... we are so please to report that there is life on this strange snow covered planet. We actually got to go outside today and ventured over to Jacob and Sofie's house to play, thanks to Mommy and Daddy carrying us over the nearly 2 feet of snow still on the ground. And no... we haven't seen a plow since this past weekend.

We survived!

We had so much fun at daycare and did so well! We even took naps, we played with our friends and had lunch and snacks and then Mommy came. She seemed to have fun at work today too.

Surpise Surpise it's starting to snow again. Mommy's office is already closed for tomorrow, so we get to play at home with her tomorrow... YAY!!!!! Maybe Mommy will take us out in the snow and lets us.... um..... get lost in it.... cause that's probably we will be able to do in it... let us do some math. If there was already 30+ inches of snow on the ground.... and we are supposed to get another 12+ inches..... that's 42+ inches..... i guess we can find out if we are close to 4 feet or not :)

We are still here

We survived the big snow storm of 2010. We were at Nana and Grandad's house the whole time..... Mommy and Daddy went to the beach. We have tons of pictures and videos of the roads that Mommy took while they were coming home. We also had our first experience with Daycare... BTW Mommy now has a new job which was supposed to start today.... but apparently people are still snowed in... so in theory she goes in tomorrow and we are off to day care 4 days a week. Oh and Mommy works for the best company in the world. The March of Dimes..... she is helping to orgainze the big walk... which we are still trying to raise money for... don't forget to donate!
