Saturday morning we went to our music class as usual and came home and had to clean up our baby jail cause we had company coming. It was the big Virginia Tech vs Georgia Tech.... and while we wont talk about the outcome of the game..... it was a lot of fun. There was us (DUH) mommy and daddy, Aunt Courtney, Uncle Todd, Kerri, they even brought their dog Felix!, Aunt Katie, Miss Jeanette, Miss Erika and Mr Michael and they brought Sofie and Jacob and Aunt Mo came too. Lots of food and fun!

Aunt Courtney, Uncle Todd, Kerri and Felix spent the night and the next day we all went out o lunch at Red Robin... we had TONS of french fries, plus a grilled cheese sandwich. We were actually quite well behaved.... minus a bowl of goldfish that ended up on the floor.

Grandma and Grandpap came down on Sunday night and stayed till Tuesday while Mommy was in Milwaukee, we had tons of fun, we went to the allergist but their computers were down so we have to go get some blood work done (gulp!) to see how allergic we are to things. We haven't gotten any pictures from Grandma's camera yet... but when we do we will post them.
We have a bunch of videos to post... those will go up as soon as we can get them loaded on to youtube.

Social Butterflies!

This past week was a busy one. We had the usual PT appointments and outings... however Friday and Saturday were busy days. Friday we went over to play with Jacob and Sofie and their Daddy, Mr. Michael. We had WAAAY to much fun. Here are some photos and a video ... Alex was camera shy however.

On Saturday we got to go to Miss Jeanette's to watch the Hokie's beat Miami!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy had Nana and Grandad on standby just in case things got out of hand with us..... and of course they did! We got there and got some loving my Miss Jeanette's HUGE dog Moby.... he is like twice the size of Sasha.... he was super affectionate with Nate. Mommy ran around and baby proofed Miss Jeanette's living room.... but we still found things to get into.... chips, guacamole, crackers, the tv, remote controls. About 3o minutes into the game Mommy and Daddy had enough when Nate tipped over a cup of Margarita and the proceeded to smear it into the table. Off to Nana's we went. Aunt Courtney helped Mommy drop us off... and manage to get a photo in before heading back to the game. Oh well we had fun and at least the Hokies won!
Us and Aunt Courtney..... GO HOKIES!

Labor Day Weekend

We have been so busy recently. The weather has been beautiful so we have been running around a lot outside. Alex has been verbalizing a lot more and even has some animal sounds down like horse, duck, cow, chicken and is very good at saying "No" and "Go". Everyone is so excited about this! Nate's vocabulary has blown up and we can't even keep track of all the words he is saying... his favorite is "No".

Saturday Mommy and Daddy were watching the Virginia Tech Football game.. which started after we went to bed....... but we solved that problem, Nate woke up and decided he was up for a while so he got to watch the game with Mommy and Daddy, then Alex woke up, but he went back to sleep a little easier. They did eventually pause the game and get us back in bed... unfortunately... maybe the next game they will let us start up and watch the whole game

Sunday Aunt Maureen came to visit us and take Mommy out to lunch for her birthday which was last weekend. We had fun playing with her and taking her on a walk around our neighborhood.

Monday Daddy didn't have to go to work.. something about it being "labor day"... but I thought only Mommies went into labor..... so confused... anyways so we all went to the elementary school to play on the equipment.

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On thursday we went to Alex's helmet appointment and we have some big news to report. On October 8th at 3pm the helmet is coming off for good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! Alex will have had it on for about 10 months by the time he gets it off.... that's over half of his life. Needless to say Mommy and Daddy are very excited. Mommy can't wait to cuddle Alex without the helmet whenever she wants to.

Grandma and Great Aunt Helen came to visit us yesterday. They took tons of pictures so once Mommy gets them she will post a couple. We had a lot of fun!

Today we are going to watch the Virginia Tech Hokies play Georgia Tech on TV... GO HOKIES!!!! However we kind of have to root for GTech too because Uncle Stephen is a senior there. But Daddy, Aunt Courtney, Uncle Todd, and most of Mommy's friends went there, so Mommy is an honorary Hokie.. especially since her colleges didn't have football teams.

Hopefully all goes well and we will still have our surgery on Wed. We have a doctors appointment on Tues. so we will keep you updated.
