Labor Day Weekend

We have been so busy recently. The weather has been beautiful so we have been running around a lot outside. Alex has been verbalizing a lot more and even has some animal sounds down like horse, duck, cow, chicken and is very good at saying "No" and "Go". Everyone is so excited about this! Nate's vocabulary has blown up and we can't even keep track of all the words he is saying... his favorite is "No".

Saturday Mommy and Daddy were watching the Virginia Tech Football game.. which started after we went to bed....... but we solved that problem, Nate woke up and decided he was up for a while so he got to watch the game with Mommy and Daddy, then Alex woke up, but he went back to sleep a little easier. They did eventually pause the game and get us back in bed... unfortunately... maybe the next game they will let us start up and watch the whole game

Sunday Aunt Maureen came to visit us and take Mommy out to lunch for her birthday which was last weekend. We had fun playing with her and taking her on a walk around our neighborhood.

Monday Daddy didn't have to go to work.. something about it being "labor day"... but I thought only Mommies went into labor..... so confused... anyways so we all went to the elementary school to play on the equipment.

Haircuts and visitors

So we had tons of fun yesterday. We went to Nana's House and ran around for a few minutes before we were loaded up in the car again and went to get haircuts with Miss Jane at Victoria's Station. We love getting our hair cut by her. Nate sat in the chair all by himself and did so well. Alex had to sit on Mommy's lap but didn't cry like he usually does, he wasn't HAPPY about getting his hair cut, but he was distracted with water bottles (the spray kind), books and magazines.

After our hair cuts Grandad got back from his boating trip with Great Uncle Bob so we hung out with them. Also Aunt Maureen stopped by to play for a little bit as well. We hadn't seen her in a good couple months! Mama even got Nate to say "Mo"

Tonight Grandma and Grandpap came to visit as did Miss Ashley and her mommy Mrs. Link, Miss Ashley knitted us two awesome blankets (pictures later!) Grandma and Grandpap will be staying with us till Saturday... YAY!!!!!!!!! Ok bed time.
