just a quick one

We are having way too much fun at the beach! Pictures will be up soon we promise! But we just wanted to let you know that we have been keeping track how many times we have peed in the potty since we got to Nana's house on Wed. And we mean the BIG toilet like Mommy and Daddy use.... here is our talllies so far -

Alex peed in the potty for the first time this morning. WAY TO GO ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok back to running around on the beach and collecting sea shells. Oh and hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July. We celebrated by not taking a nap and going to bed early, but we heard there were some awesome fireworks outside on the beach... oh well maybe next year we can make it till it's dark outside!

More Beach Pictures

So we have been back from the beach for a week... yeah we know... we have just been having too much fun and trying to get back onto a normal schedule. Thursday Miss Cheryl came by and evaluated Alex's walking abilities. She is so proud of him, he is walking for longer periods of time and is really getting his balance together. GO ALEX! Then this weekend there was drama was Ty... our more unsociable cat.... apparently he ate one too many hair elastics and got a massive tummy ache and had to have surgery... he is home now and doing much better... hopefully he learned his lesson. Yesterday Grandma and Great-Aunt Helen came for a visit. That was fun too! And tomorrow we are off to Nana and Grandad's. Here are more pictures from the beach.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes we are still around... getting into trouble as usual. We have just been so busy on vacation at the beach. Our typical day consists of waking up at about 7, playing in a mini version of baby jail, breakfast, baby jailing it while Mama and Dada get their breakfast, hit the beach for about an hour, lunch, big nap, beach/pool plus baby jail and at least one episode of Elmo's world, and bed.
We got in last Thursday after spending the night at Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben's place... we LOVE their puppy Sasha... she gave us tons of kisses. Our car trip down was fun. We slept the first half and then stopped in Williamsburg and ran around for about an hour and then we hopped back in our car and drove all the way down to OBX... we did really well! When we got there we saw Nana and Grandad and on Sunday Dada, Uncle Stephen, Miss Becca and Mr Chris and Mr Will all came down to play with us! We have had soooo much fun. Beach Update

Sorry we haven't updated. We have been so busy lounging on the beach, eating sand, splashing in the pool, taking siestas, eating and drinking a few bottles a day... of formula.

We went down the beach for the first time on Wed. We played in the sand... ate the sand, sat in the ocean and we got carried into the ocean as well. We loved it!!!!!!!

We also have hung out in the pool every day... OMG so much fun!!!! We love to splash around, take every one's sunglasses off.

While we are on vacation we have been hard at work EATING!!!! Since Nana and Grandad watched us last weekend while Mommy and Daddy went off to Miss Katie's wedding we are eating 3 full meals a day!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! We both are kicking eatings booty!

However there is some bad news. Mommy and Daddy had to take Nate to urgent care Wed. night because he had a very crusty eye. Turns out he had an eye infection AND a DOUBLE ear infection. However no one knew about it because he was his normal self. So he is now on antibiotics.

We made it to the beach with only one major issue... we woke up in Williamsburg and weren't allowed out of our car seats so we started crying so much we threw up... so we had to make Aunt Courtney do an emergency pullover. The remainder of the car ride was uneventful.

16 months

We are 16 months today and..... it's also Grandma's birthday today! Happy Birthday Grandma!

We had a blast at Nana's and Grandad's. We had an eye appointment this morning and Nate's eyes are fabulous however Alex's is going to need laser eye surgery to finish fixing his lazy eye.. that will happen at the exact same time as his other surgery scheduled for next month.

We are busy packing up our toys because tonight we head to the beach.

We will do a huge update once we get settled at the beach house and post lots of pictures!!
