Christmas (Part 1)

Merry Christmas!

Yeah yeah we know. Christmas isn't but less than 48 hours away... 24 if you want to count Christmas Eve since that's when we get to open PRESENTS!!! We are so excited and can't wait to share with you tons of pictures of all of our goodies. But in case we can't get onto Mommy's laptop in the next few days, since we will be so preoccupied with the presents. We wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!! Hopefull Santa will be good to all of us this year :) Don't forget to leave him cookies and milk, we hear he loves that!

:cough: Hi! :cough:

Tis the season! We have been sick for over a week. It started out last Thursday when Mommy had to leave work 30 minutes early to come get us because we both had fevers (and one of us may have thrown up on the daycare's director's chair). So needless to say we were off to the doctors on Friday morning where we were diagnosed with double ear infections. Nate was wearing the red plaid shirt from a couple entries ago when we were standing in front of the tree... and the doctor said our ears were THAT red. So we have been on antibiotics and taking it easy. Alex didn't go to school on Monday because he had a fever again so he and Mommy vegged in front of the TV and napped all day. We still have coughs, but what else is new?

Christmas is only 16 days away! We are so excited!!!

Oh and on Sunday we got to see Nana, Grandad, Aunt Coco, Uncle Todd, Kerri, Pop-Pop and Felix. Nana and Grandad just got back from a month long trip to New Zealand and Australia, we got a lot of cool gifts from them!

Did we mention it's freezing outside? Literally!! Guess we won't be going out to play for a while.

Cyber Monday... or something like that!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went over some mountains and thru some states to Grandma's house with Daddy! We had so much fun and even got to go visit everybody's favorite jolly fellow, more pictures were taken but here are us boys on Santa's lap. We ate tons of food and saw everyone and had tons of fun. More pictures later!!

Arts and Crafts - Pumpkin Style

So we got our second set of pumpkins this week. The first set were small and we drew faces on them, we got them the first time we went to the petting zoo with the day care. Yesterday when Alex went he got a nice sized pumpkin and today when the petting zoo came to the day care while Alex was at elementary school Nate got a nice sized pumpkin too. So we (with Mommy's help) turned our pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns. Here is our finished products!!!

Happy Halloween... almost

So lots happening this week. Alex got to go to the farm again with his elementary school and a farm came to Nate at daycare. We have been playing with our halloween costumes and getting comfy with them which is great cause last year we didn't even want to put them on so no pictures were taken. We also got to play with some bags that Mommy had lying around.... the are blue... and had empty blue boxes in them... we were pretty exited about them. We will be posting 2 new videos later tonight as well. We can't wait to go to school on Friday in our costumes and then go trick or treating for the first time on sunday... yay!

What a weekend

Hi All!!!! So last weekend we hung out at Grandma and Pap's house and this weekend we went south to Nana and Grandad's house. They drove us down on Friday and Mommy came and met us there after work. Saturday Uncle Stephen and Grandad took us to the park to run off some energy while Nana and Mommy went to Home Depot (hmmm that sounds backwards... but it's true!) Then we got to see Aunt Katie who came to pick Mommy up to go out for the night.. something about a 10 year renion with a school... whatever! Then today Nana, Grandad and Pop-Pop took us to the park while Mommy slept in, apparently she wasn't following her rule about going to bed with and getting up with the sun. Then Aunt Coco, Uncle Todd, Kerri and Felix and Felix's friend Cody came to play and stay for dinner. We celebrated Nana's birthady even though its not till after Halloween but everyone was in town this weekend.

Both of us have been super busy! On Monday we went on a field trip to the petting zoo with the day care, tons of fun! We brought back pumpkins that Mommy helped us draw faces on. Alex is loving school and doing so well and Nate loves to color and do arts and crafts.

So this all started when Mommy was writing words on our doodle pads and Nate sat with it and actually traced every letter Mommy put down. Mommy then went to go get her camera to try to get Nate to do it again... but he decided to draw what he wanted. A house, Mommy and Daddy. Enjoy!!

Big Boy School!

Yesterday Alex went to Waverly Elementary school to check out his new teachers and class and friends! He was very shy at first and hung out with Mommy for the first 10 minutes but then finally warmed up and explored the class room and checked out all of their very cool toys. Then we joined the group and did a freeze dance. After that Alex told Mommy he had to go potty and he did on the toilet!! Then it was time to go out side and play on the equipment, Alex still hung out with Mommy for the most part but went up and down the equipment a couple of times. After that we went back inside for snack time, Yum Goldfish and Water!! Alex's favorite part was he found a damp sponge and cleaned all the counters and tables. It was finally time to go leave and Mommy and Alex went back to the day care to drop him off so he could spend the rest of the day with Nate. Some time next week he is going to ride the BUS to school!!! Oh and Monkey got to come along to school today as well :)

So today Mommy and Daddy went to Waverly Woods ES to meet with some new teachers and Ms. Laura. Alex qualified for some sort of program called IEP. He is going to be getting 7 hours a week of physical/occupational/speech/educational therapy. Which is way to much to be done at the day care. SO..... Alex gets to go to Elementary school... 4 days a week for 3 hours a day!!!! Tomorrow morning Mommy will be bringing him for about an hour to meet all the teachers and new friends, and once the bus knows he is going to be needing a ride (sometime next week) Alex gets to take the bus to school!! Ms. Laura said she will be there his first day to ride the bus with him and get him settled into his new class room. Everyone is very excited! Lots of pictures will be posted hopefully!!!!

We know... we need to update. We promise soon. Nothing exciting going on here. Grandma and Pap came to visit us for the long weekend and this past weekend we hung out at Nana and Grandads. We got our Halloween costumes and are so excited about them. Nate is going to be Plex and Alex is going to be Brobee (both from Yo Gabba Gabba).. pictures to be posted soon.

Dinner and Art!

So Tuesday we got a super treat/surprise. Mommy came to pick us up from school and guess who was with her? NANA!!!!! We were actually stunned and in shock when she came in. We gave her a quick tour of the school and then went home to find someone sitting on our couch... who could it have been??? GRANDAD!! We were so excited! We changed our diapers and went potty on the toilet and then went out to dinner. We had so much fun!

Tonight, when Mommy came home and was giving Alex big hugs Nate was drawing on his doodle pad and then brought it over to show Mommy. She was completely blown away, he did it 100% by himself!!

Weekend Update

We had such a busy weekend. First off Mommy came back from her week training for her new job in New Jersey, so Saturday morning we got to give her lots of hugs, however she had a hair appointment so after breakfast she went to get her hair cut, while she was gone Daddy attempted to cut our hair. Alex gave in and let Daddy have a go at it (it wasn't terrible), Nate however didn't want to have anything to do with Daddy and the razor. So Mommy got home and she packed us in her car and off we went to Nana's house, we got to hang out there while Mommy went to Aunt Coco's house for her birthday party, they did a scavenger hunt (check out Kerri's blog so she can fill you in on that). Then Sunday morning Mommy, who's birthday it happened to be... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!!, took us, and Nana, and Grandad and Aunt Coco and Kerri to this huge park to celebrate her birthday, and we had so much fun, here are a few pictures Mommy took, again check out Kerri's blog for more -

After that we went all went back to Nana's house and had lunch and took huge naps... but not with out more photos being taken... it is seriously hard to be so stinking cute!!

It only took 14 months to get all 3 grandkids in the same picture and looking at the camera.... AND we all look happy!!!! Best Birthday Gift for Mommy Ever!!!! After our naps we had some cake (yum) and Aunt Coco and Kerri went home and Grandad and Mommy took us in the pool... more pictures and videos!!
