BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE A COUSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so proud to introduce the latest addition to our family Kerrington SueAnne!!!!!!! She was born Saturday at 6:51am weighing a HUGE 8lbs 10oz and 21 inches long (compare that to our 1lb 8oz and 13 inches long... she is a GIANT!) We haven't met her yet, maybe next weekend or right before we head to the beach, but Mama and Daddy got to meet her and love her to pieces.... here are a few pictures

In other news Grandma and Grandpap came to visit us this weekend, they just got back from a month in Europe. We both got shirts that say (in french) "Grandma and Grandpap went to Mont St Michael and all I got with this t-shirt". We had a lot of fun playing with them and showing them our new tricks. Sunday morning we went to the Nicu to visit Miss Kelly and Miss Celeste, it was so great to see them... we were a bit shy though, but we got to run around which was fun.

Our Daddy is OLD today... he turned 30!!!!!!!!!

Anyways we celebrated by eating pizza and having dinner together. We were being adorable as usual... Here is one of the videos mom took of Nate.... who apparently is part boy, part monkey and part DOG!?!?!?!?!? The video of Alex will be posted ASAP.. it is taking a bit longer to upload.

So we finally got some pictures from Memorial Day as well as on Sunday when Mommy took pictures of us playing and Alex drinking milk from a big boy cup! Not much new going on with us today. Grandma and Grandpap just landed safe and sound from their month long trip abroad, we can't wait to see them this weekend! And tomorrow we are going to Nana and Grandad's house and Aunt Courtney will be there too(unless she has our cousin tonight!!) Happy Friday!!!

We hope everyone enjoyed their short work week. We didn't do anything major this week.... I mean minus celebrating the Penguins going to the Stanley Cup Finals!!!!!!!!! WOHOO!!! We can't wait.. hopefully we can take back the cup this year.

Hopefully it stops raining this weekend... it has been raining every day since last Sunday and we haven't gotten to go outside and play. This weekend we may join Mommy at a BBQ with some of her high school friends... we will see if Daddy wants to take us... and next weekend we are going to go visit the NICU nurses who took care of us for 4 months.... or 123 days if you want to be specific!

There is also something else going on next week.... DADDY'S BIRTHDAY!!!!! He is turning the big 3-0! That's ancient.... well to us at least! Also Grandma and Grandpap get back from their trip and will come visit us as well to help Daddy celebrate his b-day.

That's about all that's going on here. Aunt Courtney is still pregnant and due in like 9 days... so any day now we will be introducing our little cousin to you all.... we can't wait!

Hi Everyone... we will start with sad news first. Great-Grandpap T died this weekend (that's Grandpap's Da-Da)

Now on to lots of exciting news.... first of all.... last night Dada did something to our car seats and we got to face forward finally. It is so cool... we can see Mama now while she drives us around! Look at what big boys we are.....

Also in news we got big boy travel beds for when we go to the beach and visit people. We napped in them at Nana's house to try them out. We really didn't fuss as one might imagine when we got zipped in. It's basically like a big tent with an inflatable mattress to sleep on. Also this week Miss Becca and Aunt Katie came to play on Sunday at Nana's house. We were fairly fussy so we don't have any good pictures to post. Oh well. Alex is pretty much a full time walker. He doesn't do long distances but he really enjoys walking everywhere... sometimes he still holds some one's hand, but it still counts!

We have had runny noses this week. We seem to be better but last night Nate didn't sleep well and Mama and Dada now have sore throats. What Fun!

That's about all for now. More later! Tomorrow we are going to Nana's house to meet Great-Great Uncle Bruce and Miss Barbara (Pop-Pop's brother and his friend)... we will definitely post pictures of that when we get a chance.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy Mother's Day to all our readers who are mothers (or are moms-to-be!) Alex was so excited about Mother's Day and giving Mommy her present that we got her, so he woke up extra early! YAY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!! So we gave her a beautiful new apron and some cards, then we all had breakfast, we had egg free waffles while Daddy made Mommy Nutella filled pancakes. Then Mommy went to the gym while we napped, then we had lunch and took a walk to the park, where we weren't in the mood to do anything like go down slides or climb things, we just wanted to go home and play... but we enjoyed being outside in our strollers. Now all we need is dinner and a bath and we will be ready for a (possibly) good nights sleep.

So nothing new here... except Nate figured out how to open baby jail last night, luckily Daddy caught him doing it for the first time so he didn't get too far. After we went to bed Daddy tied the gate so he can't unlatch it again... much to his annoyance this morning. We sent Mommy a dozen pink roses for Mother's Day which arrived today..... and no we won't tell you how we managed to 1) escape baby jail unnoticed 2) steal Daddy's credit card 3) order the roses 4) let no one know what we were doing. Yeah we are just THAT good!

Nothing much going on this weekend... we are going to attempt to stay awake to see the Penguins take on the Capitals.... GO PENGUINS!!!!! But Mommy and Daddy never let us have any fun. Oh well.. as long as they win we don't care!!

WE DID IT!

This morning was our walk for March of Dimes..... which our team as a whole raised over $2500... $2000 of which was from what Mommy raise... wohoo!!!! We had a blast... even if it rained the whole time.. that didn't put a damper on our walk. We walked 4 miles and saw so many people and a few dogs... including Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben's puppy Sasha! Aunt Maureen, Miss Jeanette, Miss Jenee and Grandma and Grandpap all walked with Mommy and Daddy and us. We can't wait for next year's walk... maybe the weather will be better. Enjoy the photos.

What a week we have had! Well... we really haven't done anything too exciting.... well one of us has... Alex took his clothes and diapers off when we was going to bed and decided to take a big poop right in the middle of his bed and fall asleep. Mommy found him... butt up in the air sleeping like... well a baby. He was rudely awaken when we was thrown in the shower. That was Monday night. Tuesday we went to the gym to play while Mommy and Daddy worked out, then came home to nap and then Miss Lori came to play and we showed her all our neat tricks, like Alex walking more and Nate saying "No-No". Then it was off to the mall to get new monkeys... again... cause they are starting to smell funny since we like to chew on their noses... that and Alex's was sleeping butt naked on his the night before... so time for new monkeys! Wed. was Nana and Grandad's house, we have WAAAAAAY too much fun running around their basement. And yesterday was just a normal day, went to the gym in the morning to play with our friends and then Mommy has been busy working on team shirts for the big walk this weekend... speaking of which look to your left.. you should see a March of Dimes link/picture with Mommy's goal and how much she has earn... look how close she is to her goal... just under $200 away! It's not too late to donate... every dollar helps!!

So this weekend should be fun. Grandma and Grandpap are coming down tomorrow, and we are all going to watch the Penguins (YAY) take on the Capitals (BOO... sorry to all our friends who are Caps fans.... Uncle Bryant, Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben, Aunt Maureen.. etc) then Sunday we are off to Baltimore for the March for Babies walk with all of our friends. There will be about 10 adults and 4 babies in our group... and we will all be wearing matching shirts that Mommy is making... we will definitely post pictures as soon as we can.

Well off to play on this rainy Friday.... oh and Happy No Pants Day..... we may try to celebrate later when Mommy isn't looking!

What a weekend!

Could we have been any busier??????

So as you Friday was play with Sofie and Jacob and Miss Erika as well as Miss Jeanette day.... yesterday was Aquarium with Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben day!!!! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN...... Some of us would have had MORE fun if we had decided to nap.... :ahem: Nate..... So Nate didn't nap at all before we went to the aquarium and he didn't get to run around as much as he would have liked... Alex was fairly content with being carried every where... there are no strollers allowed in the aquarium. We saw TONS of fish.... as well as sharks, sting-rays, dolphins, birds, sloths, and a tarantula... very cool! We also walk a little bit around the Inner Harbor and saw a bunch of boats.... Uncle Ben steered the stroller like a mad man... but it was fun. Then it was back home for dinner and bed. We were exhausted! But do you think we slept through the night? Of course not... Alex woke up right as everyone was going to bed (Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben spent the night) which was about 1130ish and didn't go to bed till almost 2... poor Mommy was rocking him trying to get him to fall asleep in her arms so he wouldn't cry when she put him down and disturb our guests.... luckily when she did finally put him down... even though he wasn't completely asleep he only fussed for a minute.

This morning Daddy ran us around outside and we saw Sofie and Jacob as well as the other set of twins that live two houses down. But we stayed inside most of the day because it has been very hot out.


*BREAKING NEWS* Alex just hit a HUGE milestone that Miss Cheryl his PT wanted him to do... Alex started walking on his own with no encouragement... walked up to the ball, picked up it threw it, kept walking, walked to the ball, bent down to pick it up again, kept walking and threw it... YAY he can balance himself enough to walk, bend over, pick something up and keep walking... AND throw it....... YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And in the world of Nate... this weekend... his Godmama...Aunt Katie....whom Mommy loves with all her heart...... taught Nate to say "No-No"...... Mommy currently still finds it amusing... however she mentioned something about payback and it being a female dog.... not sure what that means... but there is a video on Aunt Katie's camera so when we get it we will definitely be posting it.

Happy Friday

So we had a very very busy day! We woke up, ate breakfast and played for just a little bit... then we had baths and went next door to play with Jacob and Sofie.. our twin friends. We had so much fun, we ran around their basement for a good hour and a half. Then it was home for a quick snack and a nice long and much needed nap. Then we woke up and had lunch and next thing we knew Mommy's friend Miss Jeanette was here and wanted to play with us. We played for a while and tackled her and Mommy and pulled some hair and bit them a bit... completely out of love of course! Then we went for a walk to the Snowball stand and hung out there for a little bit, we did get a couple bites of the icy treat and then it was back home for some more playing and eating... boy are we exhausted.

Tomorrow is another busy day. Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben are coming up for the weekend and we are going to the aquarium after our naps. YAY!!! We will post pictures from today and tomorrow hopefully on Sunday!

Oh and yesterday Miss Cheryl came by and Alex walked ALOT for her... and today he has been walking on his own more.... YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of time to practice tomorrow at when we see all the fishies!!

Rain Rain go away

Well it was BEAUTIFUL this weekend.. and boy what a busy weekend it was as well. Saturday Mommy left super early to head to Virginia to start getting things ready for Aunt Courtney's baby shower which was on Sunday. Later in the morning Daddy packed us up to head down and see everyone who came in from out of town for the shower. Our Great Aunt Marsha came down again and she brought her daughters/Mommy's cousins Sara and Aimee down as well, so we got to meet them for the first time. Also Nana's best friend since high school Miss Diane came down and we got to meet her, she and Great Aunt Marsha took us for a looooong walk and we had way too much fun pointing out all the cars we saw on the walk, plus a puppy came up to our strollers for a visit as well. Aunt Courtney stopped by with her best friend since 8th Miss Christine. It was so nice outside that Aunt Courtney and Uncle Todd and Daddy and Miss Christine took us outside and ran us around while Mommy baked her famous cookies for the shower.

After Daddy ate dinner he took us home and we got to spend all day Sunday with him while Mommy was having fun at the shower. We went to the park and for a walk. The weather was still pretty nice.. unlike today.. it's rainy and a bit colder... but things are looking good for this weekend's big outing we are looking forward to. Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben are coming for a visit and are going to take us to the aquarium with Mommy and Daddy.... we know what fish are... they are yummy cheese crackers... as well as pictures in our books.. and sticks we eat for dinner sometimes... so we wonder which 2 of those we are going to see on Saturday.

Sorry we haven't posted Easter pictures yet... Mommy has been super busy getting ready for the baby shower.... and now you will have to wait a bit longer cause guess who left the laptop cord at Nana and Grandad's house... that's right.. Mommy.... so now we have to use the basement computer to hack into our blog to update.... so Wed. when we go visit Nana and Grandad Mommy will be able to plus her laptop in and charge up the battery and we will get those online for you then.

Happy Easter!!!! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! We did, we went to church then off to Nana's house where EVERYONE was.... Nana, Grandad, Pop-Pop, Aunt Courtney and Uncle Todd, Uncle Stephen, Great Aunt Mary and Mommy's cousin Maya, Great Uncles Greg and Chris and Mommy's cousins Meghan and Rachel and even Miss Sara and Mr. Justin came with baby Mason. We had waaaaaaaaaaaay too much fun! Mommy took lots of pics but hasn't posted them yet... we will let you know when she does... cause we were looking quite handsome in our Easter outfits.

March of Dimes

As you all know we were born at 26 weeks gestation, that’s 14 weeks too early! We are now happy and healthy and just celebrated our 2nd birthday. However it has been a long road filled with 4 months in the NICU at St. Agnes where we got wonderful treatment from some very loving nurses, including our favorite Miss Kelly and Miss Celeste. Even now we are still seeing an occasional specialist and weekly visits from physical and speech therapists. Mommy would give anything to be able to snap her fingers and stop premature births from occurring. She wouldn’t wish what we have been through on anyone, and we are the lucky ones who got to go home. While she can’t snap her fingers and make it better, she can walk in the annual March of Dimes walkathon – March for Babies and raise money so someone can find a way to prevent prematurity and other birth defects.

We all know the economy is less than fabulous, however ever dollar you can donate will make a difference and it could be your dollar that puts the March of Dimes over the edge and helps them figure this epidemic out. We are also looking for people to walk with us on Sunday May 3rd at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. Registration is at 8am and the 4-mile leisurely walk around Baltimore starts at 9. We will be there, being pushed by Mommy and Daddy and some of their friends. We went last year with our Aunt Courtney, who is now about 32 weeks pregnant with a little girl, and we had a blast, we even ran into some of our friends from the St. Agnes NICU. Last year Mommy raised over $1,000, please help her reach her very ambitious goal of $2,000.

WE'RE 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was our birthday... we our officially two year olds! We had such a crazy busy day. Mommy was up at 3:30 cause it was really windy outside and she couldn't go back to sleep. So she heard Alex wake up at about 4 and Nate was up at 5, so after she heard we were both awake she came in to our room and got us. We were just so excited it was our birthday. We opened our gifts from Mommy and Daddy (a kid's digital camera... very durable.. we already tested that out! and some books.. plus our swings we got a couple weeks ago) Then Mommy and Daddy packed up the car and we headed to Nana and Grandad's for our birthday party. We got there, ran around, opened more gifts and then took a short nap. When we woke up it was just about time for our birthday party. It was much smaller than last years big party....but still a lot of fun. Nana, Grandad, Aunt Courtney, Uncle Todd, Uncle Stephen, Grandma and Grandpap, Pop-Pop, Aunt Helen, Uncle Bill, Aunt Heidi and Uncle Dave, Aunts Katie, Maureen and Laura and Uncles Ben and Bryant were all there..... oh yeah and Mommy and Daddy... and our favorite puppy Felix was even there. So our family and god parents.... fun crowd. We ate pizza and a special cake mommy made us. We got soo many gifts we havent even opened half of them.

Mommy will upload pictures later when she gets a moment... currently she has no voice and is whispering.... we think its funny.

Guess what?!?!?!

WE'RE GOING TO BE 2 ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!

We don't have much to update. We were going to post 2 new pictures this weekend... but Mommy went out of town to a baby shower in Va Beach (we are supposed to send a shout out to all the nice ladies she met down there!) for Aunt Courtney so we had to wait till she got home. So two pictures below are of us at N&G's house last week and our first birthday present... BEAN BAG CHAIRS!!!!!!! We love climbing all over them and sitting on them.... Mommy and Daddy have enjoyed having something to lean against while sitting in our baby jail.... which possibly has a new name thanks to Uncle Stephen... since we are no longer babies... have we mentioned our 2nd birthday is on Saturday? Uncle Stephen came up with the name "Play Penitentiary"... get it?? It's like a big play pen/jail.... we thought it was funny. Anyways... G&G came down to help daddy take care of us this weekend... and it was a yucky weekend to go out and play, though we did get a nice walk in with Daddy yesterday. Hopefully next weekend is nice for our birthday.... have we mentioned Saturday is our birthday??

IT'S SPRING

Well.... sort of spring.... its nicer outside so Mommy brought us out while daddy was doing something..... we don't know what... but we got the feeling it has to do something with our birthday... and Mommy keeps talking about swings.... anyone know what these "swing" things are they keep talking about??? So we ran around outside... and by we... we mean Nate ran around and Alex stood hanging on to Mommy for dear life... but explored a little bit.. especially the tree that is starting to bloom. So yesterday was Uncle Stephens birthday.... which we slept through dinner and dessert...We got to spend the night at Nana and Grandad's house and we were awake from about 10pm till 1am.... Mommy loved us last night! This morning... after lacking in the sleep department... we were up again at 6:30..... again Mommy was loving us. This morning Mommy took us to the salon to get haircuts by Miss Jane... she gave us our very first haircuts. Nate did really well sitting still and holding his monkey... Alex... well he didn't want to sit still..... but Miss Jane and Mommy found a way to distract him long enough.... see below

So Mommy forgot about St. Patty's day till last night... so this is the only green she couldn't find that wasn't Christmas related... (forgive her she's not Irish) But here are pictures from today. Nothing new to report except Alex is walking more..... when he wants to and Nate is..... being Nate.... the red marks on Alex's cheeks are from Nate biting him...... allegedly! So we are going to post the pictures while Mommy is busy baking for Uncle Stephen's birthday tomorrow..... just think about it... if he was born a day earlier we would have had an Uncle Patrick..... you think we joke :)

So it is a fabulous 68 degrees currently.... and everyone was up early and had some energy so at 9:00 Mommy and Daddy packed us up and took us to the neighborhood park. OMG We had so much fun. Alex loved going down the slides and Nate was very clingy of Mommy and Daddy to begin with and didn't want to go down the slides... but quickly got back to playing. Mommy and Daddy took tons of photos. Check them out HERE Alex walked a bit.. mainly hanging on but did do some steps by himself... We came home drank tons of water and milk and had a snack... now its time to get into some clean clothes and take a nap!

It's snowing again

We are supposed to get about 4-8 inches of snow tonight.... and you know what that means... absolutely nothing to us cause we stay inside all day. However hopefully tomorrow we will get to go to the gym and play at the kids center while Mommy works out... providing it doesn't snow too much!

We had a fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpap while Mommy and Daddy had an adults night out with their friends.

Alex is walking more often... but not consistently. We are mainly over our colds, luckily they didn't turn into something worse.

Good news, Bad news

Bad news... we are sick.... just little colds right now, runny noses and lacking in sleep due to lacking in breathing ability in our noses. But no ear infections or anything, we went to the doctors yesterday morning. 

Good news. ALEX WALKS!!!!! He went 6 feet, measured distance... not steps, between Mommy and Daddy. He was so proud and confident. He has been doing it way more often now and even take initiative to do it himself. Everyone is hoping that he is a full time walker by our birthday... which is just a few weeks away! (April 4th for those of you who have forgotten already) 

Well we need to go play a little bit more before nap time. Just wanted to fill you all in on what has been going on.

Hope everyone had a great valentine's day! We got lots of cards... which were immediately ripped to shreds. We had such a busy week this past week that we are just now getting around to updating about it.

Wed. Aunt Katie met us at Nana and Grandad's house, Uncle Ben couldn't make it cause he had to work, but Aunt Katie read us stories and played with us. Then on Saturday Aunt Maureen came over to play and spend Valentine's Day with us. She brought us this fun Thomas the Train book with sounds and flaps that fold back... which we also have been working on ripping out.

Hello!

So we had fun this weekend. We went for walks with Grandma and Grandpap and Daddy, and we went to the park. Mommy was at a cake class all day so she didn't get to come with us...but next time she will! 

Monday we had our hearing tests and Alex did superb! He sat nice and still and didn't want to get down and play so he was able to do the whole test by sitting on mommy's lap and looking at the different areas of the room the sound came from. Nate didn't want to sit still... imagine that.. so he got the abridged version, so she tested enough to make sure he had the right hearing levels for learning, talking, and hearing Mommy when he gets in trouble. Both of us were in the normal range.. YAY!!!!! So now Mommy knows that we CAN hear her... we are just choosing to ignore her. The also tested for liquids in our ears, Nate's was fine but Alex had a little... but we knew he would since on Friday he Dr L said he did. So he has to go  back in 2 months and get that checked out to make sure that is gone. But good news all around for the most part. 

We are so excited about today. First of all the weather is fabulous and going to be in the 60s. But this morning we are going to Nana and Grandad's house... maybe we can go play outside a little... that would be fun! Then Aunt Katie is coming over for dinner and Uncle Ben may stop by if his work allows. YAY WE GET TO PLAY WITH AUNT KATIE!!!!! And Aunt Maureen is going to come over on Saturday to play! What a fun week we are going to have. Ok we need to go get read to go to N/G's house! 

So we didn't get to visit Jacob and Sofie today cause they aren't feeling well AND their Mommy had to work :( So after our naps and lunch Mommy took us to get new monkeys (since the ones we got from Miss Ashley and her family were very well loved and started to actually smell like real monkeys) So we went to Build-a-Bear to make monkeys..... so shouldn't it then be called Build-A-Monkey???? Anyways... Then we got hair cuts and headed home. Mommy took some pictures today and here are a few below.

update!

First of all, earlier this week we lost our Great-Grandpap G. :( Daddy went to PA with out us or Mommy to say his bye-byes. Daddy should be home tonight and we may get to see Grandma and Grandpap this weekend.

On to happier news. We just got back from Alex's doctor's appointment to check-up on his ear infection. The infection is gone, but there are still some fluids... which means he has to stay healthy for a few more weeks so the fluid can go away with out getting infected again. He didn't get officially weighed in.. but Mommy did sneak him onto the scale while waiting and fully clothed he was over 20lbs 8ozs. Also Alex has been taking more steps and yesterday walked for Miss Cheryl. Last night he took a few steps all on his own without any coaching. He just let go of the chair and took a few steps... Mommy was barely paying attention and almost missed the whole thing. So it may be finally time for Alex to be a full time walker... YAY!!!

Nate has added a few more words to his vocabulary. Yesterday he did the sign for "fish" while pointing to fish in a book... we also use the sign for goldfish snacks... yummy.. our favorite! Nate also this morning said "Kitty" and "Car"... Kitty was while pointing at Piccadilly and Car was while Mommy was pointing to a car and he mimicked what she said. Nate also is almost running and also tip-toes around.

If all goes well, after nap and lunch we may get to go over to Jacob and Sofie's and play with them at their house. If so we will make Mommy bring her camera and take pictures of us and our friends and post them. Ok time to play!

March of Dimes

So we are doing the March for Babies again this year... well we aren't actually walking.. we are getting pushed in our stroller while Mommy walks the 4 miles. Its on Sunday May 3rd at Camden Yards. Mommy is looking for people to join her team and also to donate money to help all babies be born healthy. GOOOOO STEELERS!!!!

We are so excited.. the Steelers won the super bowl!!!!!!! Granted we were fast asleep when all the excitement happened.... but still... YAY!!!!

It's snowing again... which is weird cause on Sunday it go up to like 60 degrees.

Nothing else really new to report. Miss Lori is coming to play later today. Tomorrow we go to Nana and Grandad's for the day.

That's about it. We are tired... NAP TIME!

So this week was a very boring week. It snowed Tuesday and iced over on Wed. so we didn't get to go anywhere and Miss Lori didn't come visit us because she didn't have to work on Tuesday since the schools were closed..... we find it interesting that some people would consider playing with two adorable little boys work... but whatever!

Yesterday we went to Nana and Grandad's and they watched us again for a couple hours while Mommy escaped to "reclaim her sanity"... yeah we don't get it either. But we had fun. We love playing on our big slide that they got us for Christmas. We chase each other around it, climb all over it and play peek-a-boo. We also watched tons of Elmo's world and ran all over the house.

We didn't sleep well last night, Alex didn't take a nap yesterday and we were both up around 2am for a good bit. On Sunday Mommy and Daddy are going to Aunt Courtney's and Uncle Todd's to watch the STEELERS BEAT THE CARDINALS... or at least hopefully that's how that plays out. We are going to Nana's and Grandad's since the game is on during our bed time. Maybe next year we will get to stay up and go to all these fun parties!

Update!

So we know we haven't updated since Obama because president. There hasn't been too much going on here. Wed. we went to Nana and Grandad's house and had tons of fun running around their basement playing with toys and climbing on their stairs... as usual.

Thursday Miss Ashley (a friend of Mommy's who gave us our favorite monkeys for our 1st birthday) came over and played with us. Then we napped. Then Miss Cheryl came to play with us. Alex hasn't walked since last Tuesday, just being difficult like that. But he has been standing and hanging out like that for longer periods of time.

We haven't been up to too much the last two days. We are currently blogging from Nana and Grandad's house waiting for Aunt Courtney and Uncle Todd to arrive... oh we almost forgot... our baby cousin-to-be is a.... GIRL!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is so excited, we can't wait to meet her... however we are going to talk to her today about staying in for a long time, since we are expert NICU babies... and while we LOVE our nurses and all the attention we received.... she would have more fun going right home where she will be spoiled by both sets of her grandparents and all her aunts and uncles... since she is the 1st girl baby on both sides of the family. Wait... does that mean attention won't be on us anymore.... hmmmm... this may not be as fun as it sounds.

Alright... well gotta go play with all of our toys... Mommy is taking pictures so we will post them later this week!

Happy Inauguration Day!!!!!!! While we will probably be asleep while history is being made, Mommy is going to record it so we can watch it later. We had a fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpap, they stayed till yesterday and made it home safe and sound... they just barely missed that big 35 car 5 truck pile up on 70 W on their way home.

Today Miss Lori comes to play... YAY!!! It snowed yesterday... YAY!!! Tomorrow we are going to Nana's and Grandad's... YAY!!! Tomorrow we also should find out if our new cousin will be a boy or a girl... YAY!!!!

Also BIG congrats to Uncle Bryant and Aunt Laura ( Alex Godfather and his wife) on the birth of our newest playmate Carter. He was born on Friday. YAY!!!!!!

Alright... gotta go play.

BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG NEWS!

Hey everyone, Nate here. I have a huge announcement to make. My baby brother, yeah I know it's only by a minute, but I am still older and I will never let him live it down... anyways... my baby brother Alex, and let me tell you how proud I am of him... I mean not as proud as I am of myself, I mean come on lets face it... I am AWESOME! But I think you all knew that. Anyways, my baby brother was playing with Miss Lori, who brought her friend an O/T and Miss Lori got Alex to stand up perfectly, which I really don't know what the big deal is because I have been doing it for MONTHS!, anyways so he was standing there a little ways away from Mommy and he from a standing all by himself position he too 5 steps to her. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Previously he had been falling gracefully while taking steps... but it's officially ALEX IS WALKING!!!!!!!!

He was so proud of himself he did his excited thing where he waves his arms like he is going to fly away, opens his mouth really big and screams for like 5 minutes. Mommy was so proud too, she called Daddy and he got proud to..... hmm maybe this isn't a good thing... now I wont get all the attention..... and that mean soon he will start being able to chase me back or worse... out run me.... hmmmm.... maybe we should rethink this whole Alex walking thing..... this isn't going to be good news for me.

Oh well. We are off to Nana's and Grandad's for the day, maybe today Mommy will bring home the rest of our Christmas toys.

Bigger News!

So on Monday Alex took his first unassisted step... today he took 3 steps towards Mommy all by himself.... Daddy help steady him before letting go. ...... speaking of Daddy..... Mommy spent the night at Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben's again and when she came home Nate had a new hair cut thanks to Daddy..... she is less than pleased... but its not as bad as what she did to Alex.

Lots going on this week, P/T, Visiting Nana and Grandad, Grandma and Grandpap are coming down ..... and a weigh-in for Alex with Dr. L. on Tuesday. Stay tuned!

Oops!!

We forgot some very important news. Alex too his first step from standing perfectly by him self... he took a beautiful step towards Miss Cheryl on Monday. Mommy was so excited. YAY!!!!! Hopefully Alex will be walking soon so we can run circles around Mommy all day long.

Nothing new to report, no big plans for the weekend. Mommy and Daddy are exhausted from lack of sleep this week because someone has decided he wants to get up in the middle of the night for no reason (THANKS NATE!!)

So we were sleeping so peacefully this morning when Mommy rudely woke us up at 7:30am. The nerve! She had some doctors appointment or something. I mean really... how rude to wake us up.. I mean granted last night we woke up the whole house screaming at about 1:30am... but that's our job!

Oh well. Nothing really new to report here. We still have minor colds... but our noses aren't as runny as this weekend. We have nothing else planned till next week when we get weighed in with Dr. L, hopefully Alex has put some meat on his bones. He is feeling heavier to Mommy.

That's about it. Hopefully everyone keeps warm and dry today.

Nate's but is back to normal. Just a touch red but he is pooping without issue!!!! YAY!!!

We had a fun weekend, Grandma and Grandpap babysat us while Mommy and Daddy had a sleep over at Aunt Katie and Uncle Ben's. Saturday Daddy and Grandma and Grandpap took us for a quick walk in our new wagon that Great Aunt Helen gave us. It was cold but we had fun.

Well we got to go get ready for Miss Cheryl to come, Alex is debating whether he will show her his new trick or now. He can stand up completely on his own for quite some time. We will see.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!

We hope everyone had a fabulous new years eve. Alex slept threw it, and Nate woke up just in time to see the ball drop in times square and then it was back off to bed. We know we owe you all a big update on what has been going on this past year... we have just been too busy playing with our new toys... plus Aunt Katie and Miss Becca came over yesterday to play for a little bit... YAY!!!!!!!

Now we gotta get ready to go to Nana's and Grandad's cause they are going to watch us while Mommy and Daddy go to Aunt Courtney and Uncle Todd's to watch the Hokies play in the Orange Bowl... GO HOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
